Linda Hall Library Foundation engages in activities to promote public understanding of science, and to further scholarship in science, engineering, technology, and their histories. Its programs are designed to encourage the public, scholars, and researchers to learn, investigate, explore, and increase knowledge.
My stay at the Linda Hall Library was fundamental in achieving a European Research Council Starting Grant, a very prestigious fellowship in Europe. The material I found [at the Library] was essential to prepare the project proposal. All the information I collected there will be very important to the development of my project about coastal areas and dunes worldwide.
