How Do I Become a Computer Scientist?

Presented by the Linda Hall Library and the
University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Computing and Engineering.

 

Designed for high school students, this event will include a program and networking opportunity at the Linda Hall Library with computer scientists from a variety of fields. Following the presentations, students and guests will tour the UMKC School of Computing and Engineering to learn about academic programs and see computer science demonstrations

9:00 a.m…………………………..Doors open
9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m…………..Presentations at the Linda Hall Library
10:45 a.m. – Noon………………UMKC School of Computing and Engineering tour and demonstrations

Admission tickets

The event is free and open to any student interested in a computer science career. Parents, teachers, and mentors are also welcome to attend! Please register in advance for free e-tickets.
